$45?
Nope, don't think so. My biggest regret on my time on GW is buying all the expansions.

Has anyone thought of the possible problems with a Survivor candidate leaving Pre and running up against a LDoA? For example, I have a lvl 9 ready to go Post but if she were to meet with a lvl 20 in the Academy fight, she might as well kiss her Survivor title goodbye (especially if she has only henchmen who are lvl 3 to help).

i don't get people talking about the "hard way" getting LDoA...
expensive way maybe(the electric bill),boring way maybe (ages of not doing anything)
but i don't see the hard part of it

What problems? After all, it's not like you'd need to reroll the character. (of course, now with the update I'm of the "If it happens, it happens" mindset about getting Survivor)

The loss of the ~50k experience required to get level 9 is paltry in comparison to the experience required for LS. Also, this was possible before. Also, the change to the Survivor title makes a single death (especially at such low XP) very insignificant.

Half the time I found myself just sent on through without a fight at all. Unless there are more people leaving pre-searing these days.

I thought you could just enter the fight, quit GW, come back and then you'll be in the area after the fight? I.e. no danger in the arena.

That's one of the reasons why I think all low-level arenas should get a 'Journey to the North'-like effect, that makes everyone have level 5 or level 10 stats, depending on the arena.
Training Arena included.
